COMMENTS
Overall, wines from 2022 Barossa Valley harvest are solid. Rainfall during the growing season was below average, followed by a significant rainfall event near the end of February that assisted to freshen the vine canopy for harvest. A relatively cool summer resulted in crops with delicious flavours and delightful natural acidity.
Colour – Deep, verging on black with bright ruby red hue.
Bouquet – Beautiful medley of well integra!ed oak and luscious mulberry, black cherry fruit aromas with underlying dry spices and sage.
Palate – This well structured mouth watering palate displays balanced velvety tannins, all in harmony amongst flavoursome oak and a long lively finish.
CELLARING
10 years+ with good cellaring conditions.
