Friedas’ 2012 Old Vine Semillon
Fruit from our oldest vines, planted over 90 years ago, provide the basis for this fine unwooded Barossa Semillon. It Displays an impressive range of primary fruit characters such as green bean, lemon/lime and tropical fruit balanced with natural acidity. Enjoy as a young wine, or show patience to allow the development of wonderful and amazing aged characters Semillon is known to exhibit. Best served with seafood, Thai dishes, chicken or rabbit.
2016 Victors Old Vine Shiraz
The Gumpara vineyards have been owned and tended by the Mader family

The 2016 Barossa Vintage was a standout. Warm and dry spring conditions,
allowed for good flowering and fruit set. A chance 30mm rain event in
January, followed by mild conditions throughout February, gave rise to early

2015 Mader Reserve Shiraz
The quality of the 2015 Barossa vintage was truly outstanding. Climatic conditions were generally favourable and a pre harvest rainfall event of nearly 20mm provided good vine health that carried the vines through the warm to hot days prior to an early harvest.
Fermented in traditional open vats with header boards, this Shiraz was gently pressed into new French and American oak hogsheads and partially barrel fermented prior to barrel ageing.
A deep coloured wine that is rich and varietal, offering aromas of mulberry, blackberry, chocolate and pepper spice balanced with fine oak tannins.
A wine of great structure, palate weight and length.
Along with dry white and red table wines is our range of varietal fortified wines. These wines have been made in small batches over the last decade using specific and individual wine making methods. These fortified wines receive special care and attention and are truly unique.
Colour: Deep Reddish Brown
Aromas and Flavours: Rich dried fruits, apricots with honey and toffee. Developing rancio characters, integrated vanillin oak influence.
Mouth Feel: Rich, sweet, smooth and complex, with a spicy, spirit dry finish. Complement with aged cheddar cheese, dark chocolate ginger, sticky date pudding or chocolate mousse.
Colour: Golden Orange
Aromas and Flavours: Orange peel, marmalade and honey.
Mouth Feel: Rich and fruity, leading to a dry acid finish. Complement with chocolate dipped glacé, orange slices, soft cheese and fried pear salad or caramelised apple with ginger custard.
Colour: Golden brown
Aromas and Flavours: Rich lingering flavours of raisin, stewed prunes, honey and fruitcake. Developed rancio character.
Mouth Feel: Rich, luscious and sweet, with dry creamy finish. Complement with Gorgonzola cheese, pâté, macadamia and coconut tart or sugar filled figs with toffee ice cream.
